American Bitcoin, the Trump-linked bitcoin mining firm co-founded by Eric Trump, revealed on Monday that it has pushed its treasury to 7,000 BTC even as its shares slip further below $1.
The latest increase builds on an accumulation streak and brings the value of its holdings to roughly $474 million at current prices, with holdings up more than 35% since the start of 2026.
Last week, the company touted its quick climb in the corporate bitcoin holder ranks, after taking the 16th spot away from Galaxy Digital.
American Bitcoin also said its "Satoshis per share," a measure of bitcoin per outstanding shares, has climbed to 660, more than doubling since debuting on the Nasdaq last September.
Despite the growing reserves, shares of American Bitcoin (ABTC) continue to struggle. The stock fell below the $1 threshold last week and has continued to drift lower to $0.84.

Unlike most bitcoin treasury companies, such as Strategy and Metaplanet, that rely on market buying to accumulate, American Bitcoin has leaned into a self-mining strategy to build up its holdings. The company has expanded its fleet of ASIC mining machines in recent months as part of a push to accumulate bitcoin below spot prices through scaled operations.Launched in the second half of 2025, American Bitcoin is a majority-owned subsidiary of Hut 8, formed in partnership with Eric Trump’s American Data Centers venture. Eric Trump serves as co-founder and chief strategy officer, while Donald Trump Jr. is listed as a stockholder.
Even with recent growth, American Bitcoin’s holdings remain less than 10% of industry leader Strategy's holdings of 762,099 BTC worth over $51 billion.
